Aberdeen physician’s medical license immediately suspended

Posted by David Haviland on January 13, 2011 at 5:48 am (459 social interactions)

The Medical Quality Assurance Commission has immediately suspended the medical license of Aberdeen physician Kenneth I. Hunt, the State Department of Health says Hunt cannot practice medicine in Washington until the charges are resolved. The charges allege Hunt did not comply with a commission order that required him to follow a monitoring contract with the Washington Physicians Health Program and to refrain from using illegal, non-prescribed or potentially addicting drugs. Hunt is also alleged to have violated his monitoring contract and the department reports Hunt admitted that he recently abused alcohol and used methamphetamine.
