Log Truck Involved in Accident Burns to The Ground Several Hours Later

ABERDEEN, Wash. - A Log truck involved in an accident earlier this week burned to the ground last night

The Aberdeen Fire Department tells KBKW the Peterbuilt semi was parked alongside Kenworth Northwest for repairs, when it appears a short in the battery compartment sparked the fire. The cab of the truck was fully involved by the time firefighters arrived, the blaze was quickly extinguished, but the truck was a total loss.
This truck was involved in a two car collision Wednesday morning when a vehicle ran a flashing red light and sideswiped the truck.
