Motorsports Mania at Grays Harbor Raceway

Elma, WA - This Saturday Night in conjunction with the Grays Harbor County Fair, Grays Harbor Raceway presents Motorsports Mania Night. Highlighting the event will be a Bus Domino Jump by The Crusher of Combined Chaos, followed by a Fireworks Show, there will also be three ASA Member divisions in action including, Shipwreck Beads Modifieds, Cut Rate Auto Parts Hobby Stocks and the Hornets.

Current Shipwreck Beads Modified points leader Scott Miller from Shelton leads Josh Muller from Montesano by 27 points, 863 to 836. Craig Moore from Seabeck holds down third position with 595 points. All three of the leaders did very well at the Nationals last weekend, all three Muller, Miller and Moore made the Race of Champions on Friday with Miller finishing second, as well they all qualified for main Saturday’s A-Main, Muller was the top local driver finishing fifth. Jim Oien Jr. from McCleary holds down fourth spot with 729 points, 2009 Modified Rookie of the Year Joe German from Aberdeen rounds out the top five with 727 points.

In the Cut Rate Hobby Stock division Aberdeen’s Zack Simpson continues to lead the point standing with 890 points, 78 more than Cosmopolois driver Tom Sweatman who has 812 points. Sweatman was the feature winner at the last event for the Hobby Stocks. Jack Parshall Jr. from Aberdeen sits in third with 806 points, followed by Olympia’s Eddie Blood with 777 points. Spanaway’s Tom Hecker, the top Rookie of the year contender continues to hold down the fifth spot with 762 points.

Next weekend it’s Extreme Night presented by Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union at Grays Harbor Raceway featuring, Monster Trucks, Free Style Moto X Metal Mulisha rider Justin Holman and for the first time ever Mud Drags.

The front gates open at 4:30 pm, qualifying at 5:30 pm and racing to start around 6:30 pm.
