Arrest Made in Ocean Shores House "Explosion"

Ocean Shores, WA - A 50-year old Ocean Shores man has been arrested in connection with the Friday morning fire that destroyed an unoccupied residence in the 200 block of Ensign Avenue in Ocean Shores. Ocean Shores fire and police personnel responded the report of an explosion and fire to the home at 7:26 am. The residence was fully engulfed in flames and Ocean Shores’ fire personnel with the assistance of Fire District 7 extinguished the blaze by 8:48am. No one was injured fighting the fire.



The exact cause of the suspicious fire has yet to be determined. Arson investigators are still processing the scene. The Ocean Shores man was located near the scene a couple of hours after the fire was extinguished and arrested in connection with the fire. He is currently in Grays Harbor County Jail.
