Westport, WA - The Coast Guard rescued four people from a jetty after their boat ran aground at Grays Harbor, Wash., Saturday.

The Coast Guard recieved a distress message from the four people aboard the 18-foot, fiber glass pleasure craft at approximately 8 a.m. after their boat had run aground on the jetty. Coast Guard Station Grays Harbor launched a ground party, a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew and a 25-foot response boat crew to the scene.

The ground party reached the jetty and managed to safely escort the four people off of the rocks, and the boat crews stayed on scene until the pleasure craft came off the jetty. The vessel was then towed into Westport, Wash. There were no injuries reported.
