Officers determined the address of the suspect and went to a home in the 300 block of Karr Avenue to speak with the possible suspect. When the first officer arrived at that location he saw a red car pull up in front of the home and a male and a female get out of the car. The man was identified as the suspect. The officer noted that the suspect had black spray paint on his hands, arms and on his clothing. The man also had a fresh cut on his right hand.
The 23 year old female, who accompanied the suspect, told officers that she, the suspect’s 21 year old sister and the suspect did go to the area of the victim’s residence and that they parked around the corner form the house. She added that she and the sister stayed in the car as the suspect left the car carrying a hammer, a knife and spray paint. The witness told officers that as they sat in the car they could hear glass breaking and in a short amount of time the suspect ran back to the car.
