 Hoodsport, WA - Mason County Deputies are investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon at the West Coast Bank branch in Hoodsport. Deputies say that a lone white male entered the bank at about 1258 PM and demanded money. He went to the teller window where he dropped a note demanding money. After being given an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber left the bank on foot.
Investigators say they have high quality photos of the suspect who is described as a white male in his 40’s, about 5ft 7 inches tall, weighing about 175 lbs, with brown hair and unshaven. He was last seen wearing a Mariners baseball hat, red sweat pants and a green Philadelphia Eagles hooded sweatshirt.
Deputies also worked with Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI who are investigating a bank robbery in Elma earlier in the day. Investigators have determined that different suspects committed the two robberies.
No injuries were reported in this case and no vehicle was seen as the suspect left the bank. No arrests have been made yet.
