Attempted Murder Arrest in Naselle

On 12-13-09 Pacific County Deputies responded to a report of a domestic assault in the 50th block of Upper Naselle Road, Naselle, WA. Investigating deputies determined that a physical altercation had occurred between the two occupants who are in a dating relationship.

The suspect allegedly assaulted the victim by punching her, kicking her and sexually assaulting her. He allegedly attempted to kill the victim by soaking her in gasoline and attempting to ignite it with a match. Scott P. Leshowitz was arrested and booked in to Pacific County Jail for one count of attempted Murder, domestic violence, one count of Rape in the first degree, domestic violence, one count of attempted arson in the first degree, and one count of assault 2nd degree, domestic violence. The victim was treated at a local medical facility.
