Service Van Ends up in Harbor Near Remmy Island

Aberdeen, WA - The Aberdeen Police Department is seeking more information on a stolen vehicle that ended up in the Harbor from the 28th Street Boat Launch in Hoquiam. Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us that sometime over the weekend Humphrey Construction was broken into, and along with other things, a service van was stolen. Green tells us "Apparently it was dumped into the river at the boat ramp in Hoquiam."

The Hoquiam Police Department recovered the vehicle Monday afternoon, The breakin appears to have occured sometime between Friday night and early Monday morning. Investigators are not certain when the vehicle ended up in the water near the 28th street boat launch. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Aberdeen Police Department at 533-3180
