Hoquiam Adds an Arborist to The Urban Forestry Board

What started as an inquiry into the costs involved in the City of Hoquiams efforts to become a Tree City USA for one resident during the public comment period of Mondays City Council meeting, turned into a recruitment effort; and a new Arborist on the City's board.
 Hoquiam Resident Mike Larson stepped up last night and asked what the efforts are costing the city, while Mayor Durney did not have exact numbers on hand, he said many of the projects were planned already, Larson vetted his concerns to the council.

Durney explained the interest of the city;

Larson asked if there were any vacancies on the board, and Durney said he would appoint him to the board tonight if interested, adding he would be a good balance to the group; Mr Larson is the newest Urban Forestry board member.
