Vandalism downtown Aberdeen lands transient in jail

ABERDEEN, Wash. – On 11/15/13 at about 0300 Aberdeen Police Officers discovered that an unknown subject(s) had knocked over four garbage cans and four concrete planters downtown.  One of the planters shattered when it was turned over. A planter in front of Amore was also broken. All the damage were to the items on the North side of Heron street in the 100 West and 100 East block.
 
At about 8:04 A.M. a male subject was observed knocking over a cement planter in the area of Heron and I street by a witness.  Aberdeen Officers located the suspect, a 46 year old Aberdeen transient, in the 100 Block of West Heron street.  The suspect was arrested for Malicious Mischief 3rd degree, and on an outstanding Aberdeen Municipal Court arrest warrant and booked into the City of Aberdeen Jail.
 
Damage was estimated at under $750 dollars.
