Aberdeen 7-11 store uproots gas tanks and pumps

ABERDEEN, Wash. – Grays Harbor will soon have it’s first 7-11 store that does not sell gas. The Simpson Avenue 7-11 has removed their gas tanks and pumps, and has no plans to replace them.  7-Eleven Corporate Public Relations spokeswoman Margaret Chabris said the cost to repair and maintain the underground tanks in Aberdeen’s flatlands outweighed their benefits. The store fenced, then ripped up their parking lot last week. Chabris said parking is a little tight right now at the store, but the lot will be bigger and flat once they’re done.
