Marijuana Plants Discovered After Subjects Attempt to Flee Traffic Stop
Both Braget and League exited the vehicle from the passenger side door where they were ordered to stop. Trooper Wood was able to take control of Braget while League continued to flee on foot into a neighboring apartment complex. She was located a short time later by Shelton Police Officers.
Braget was booked into the Mason County Jail for a felony Dept. of Corrections warrant. League was booked for a felony Department of Corrections warrant and a juvenile warrant issued out of Mason County.
The vehicle was impounded to the Washington State Patrol bullpen, and a search warrant was served on the afternoon of July 16. Trooper Matt Wood and K9 Dilly located 4 potted marijuana plants ranging from 12-18" in height, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia.
Braget and League face additional charges for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession/Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Manufacture. Braget also faces additional charges of Felony Eluding, DUI, and DWLS 3rd Degree.
