ABERDEEN, Wash. – The Grays Harbor PUD yesterday released a statement thanking ratepayers that were in the dark over the weekend for their hospitality. While crews worked in the heavy rain and winds to restore power to remote areas of North Grays Harbor County, neighbors offered hot coffee, shelter, and even a drift boat in one case. The PUD said they wanted to offer a special thank you to the McCoy family for loaning crews their drift boat to get power lines up across the Humptulips River.
