Grays Harbor Community Hospital Welcomes New Gift Shop
ABERDEEN, Wash. – After nearly a year of being without a gift shop, due to the renovation of the Hospital’s lobby and gift shop space, Grays Harbor Community Hospital has announced the grand opening of the new improved gift shop. After looking at a variety of partnership options, Dave and Marcia Smith of Harbor Drug in Hoquiam were approached by the Hospital to bring their merchandising expertise to the Hospital’s gift shop. The new shop opened on Monday, August 26th with a great deal of praise and excitement from staff and visitors.
The shop carries similar items to what are available at Harbor Drug and provides visitors the opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones and friends who are in the hospital. Smith says the merchandise will be constantly changing, in order to keep shopping interesting. The shop carries gifts for babies and new parents, purses and jewelry, decorative items, slippers, snacks, greeting cards and more. They will also introduce holiday items as the season approaches.
The gift shop is located off the main lobby, close to the Hucklebearies Espresso Stand, and will be open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm, and will be staffed by Harbor Drug staff as well as hospital volunteers.
