HOQUIAM, Wash. – Congressman Derek Kilmer (WA-6) will be at the noon meeting of Hoquiam Rotary this Thursday, August 22nd. If you cannot attend as a Rotary guest you can catch him in Amanda Park later, as he swings through town on his “Conversations with Kilmer” Tour. Or you can go pick weeds with him in Port Angeles. Join Kilmer at the Olympic National Park, as a crew will be working along with Park Superintendent Sarah Creachbaum to remove exotic weeds on August 24th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM along Peabody Creek between the Visitor Center and the Administrative Office.
Kilmer will be available to meet with constituents outside the ONP Administrative Office at the picnic tables from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, you might not have time to RSVP for the service project though.
