Baby ejected from car in Mason County accident

SHELTON, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol says a baby who was not in a child seat was ejected from a car when it spun out in a ditch Thursday night near Shelton.
The 10-month-old boy was airlifted to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, his condition unknown. The 20-year-old woman driving the car was not injured.

The State Patrol reports the cause of the accident is under investigation, charges could be pending.
