Retrofit-Prep Work on Chehalis River Bridge in Montesano
MONTESANO, Wash. – Expect traffic delays on State Route 107 in Montesano this week as the State DOT preps for work on the bridge over the Chehalis River. Short-term traffic impacts are expected as trucks enter and leave the site from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, through Thursday.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says crews will construct a temporary work access area for upcoming seismic retrofit work and deliver materials to the job site. During the project, crews will strengthen and reinforce bridge piers, install seismic restrainers and lateral bracing, and build a temporary work access road.
Both directions of SR 107 at Chehalis River Bridge in Montesano will be affected, mileposts 6.8 to 7.1.
