State Patrol Seeks Witnesses to Central Park Hit And Run

Hoquiam—Washington State Patrol troopers are seeking additional witness information regarding the collision which occurred on June 5, 2013 on SR-12 milepost 3 in Grays Harbor County. At approximately 12:18 pm, a black 1996 Mazda pickup travelling east bound in the inside lane of two lanes, was struck on the passenger side by a white midsized camper trailer being towed by a red newer model extended cab pickup truck. After the collision the truck and trailer, driven by an elderly male and with an elderly female passenger, continued east bound on State Route 12.The female driver of the Mazda stopped and was later transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with minor injuries. Possible damage to the camper trailer would likely be on the left side. Troopers believe that it may be possible that the elderly driver of the red truck may have unknowingly struck the Mazda.
