Four Arrested in Elma Shooting Investigation, Tips Sought

ELMA, Wash. – Four people have been booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on various weapon-related assault charges as police continue the investigation of an Elma shooting on Saturday.
Police Chief Jeff Troumbley couldn’t release many details but could confirm that the initial call around 2 Saturday afternoon was regarding a paintball gun fight at the Shell gas station, and that the paintball incident, and the shooting incident were related. Two adults were arrested late Saturday night, and two on Sunday.
The victim, a 26 year old man, was airlifted from Summit Pacific to Harborview in serious condition Saturday afternoon.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen anything at the gas station around 2PM Saturday to call 1-800-281-6944, or 533-8765 during non business hours.
