Aberdeen Man Busted With Drugs at Drug Trial

MONTESANO, Wash. – A man on trial in Montesano forgot to leave his stash at home when in court yesterday and was taken into custody adding a second charge of possession. Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate tells us the 30 year old Aberdeen man was in Grays Harbor District Court # 1 in Montesano for violation of the uniformed controlled substance act when the judge in the case decided to place the subject into custody. As a Correctional Officer searched and arrested the subject, the officer found what was believed to be illegal narcotics. The subject was escorted to the Grays Harbor County Jail and booked on additional charges for VUCSA.
