Westport Y Deli Robbed Monday Night, Suspect at Large

WESTPORT, Wash. – Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect that robbed the Westport “Y” Deli off of State Route 109 Monday night. Sheriff Rick Scott tells us around 10:15 the store clerk stopped someone entering that was wearing a hooded jacket with the hood up, and a bandana over their face. When the clerk told them to take off the mask he replied “no, I’m robbing you.” Scott said they stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the business and jumping into a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord, which fled North on 105 into Westport. She described the suspect as very skinny, about 5’-8”, with a high pitched voice
Detectives are continuing with the case and following up on the video surveillance system, in addition to other leads. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department.
