All of the vehicles were unlocked. Small items such as GPS’, loose change, cell phones and laptops were primarily taken. Aberdeen and Hoquiam are also seeing numerous vehicle prowls
The Ocean Shores Police Department reminds everyone to lock their vehicles and houses. These crimes are crimes of opportunity and by simply securing your cars and not leaving valuables visible inside you greatly reduce the possibility of becoming a victim. Additionally, OSPD asks that anyone who sees any suspicious activities or persons to call the police immediately and not wait to report it until the next day.
