Aberdeen Hires Public Works Director

ABERDEEN, Wash. – The city’s second pick, and Mayor Bill Simpson’s first pick, for a new Public Works Director has accepted the position. Simpson said this week that Malcolm Bowie from Richland, Washington starts on Monday. Following the ratification by city council, Aberdeen will have a new Public Works Director at their next council meeting.

Nicholas Mascia of Suprise, Arizona recently turned down the offer, current Public Works Director Larry Bledsoe plans to retire by the end of the year.
