Escaped Juvenile Found on Aberdeen Waterline
ABERDEEN, Wash. – Police had to carry a 14 year old girl off of city property after she escaped her foster mother’s custody enroute to the juvenille detention center. Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us Friday morning officers responded to the waterline near Lakeside Industries in Junction City, after the girl ran about 120 feet up the slippery, muddy trail that marks the industrial waterline from Lake Aberdeen. Green said she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest, and was being taken to the juvenile center when she ran. Officers were able to carry the despondent girl back to the road, where she was arrested and booked on charges relating to her warrant.
