Sketch of Hoquiam Home Invasion Rape Suspect Released
HOQUIAM, Wash. – The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department has released the attached sketch of the man they say broke into an East Hoquiam home, raped a female occupant, and held her captive until she was able to escape to a neighbors and call for help.
Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate tells us that on October 4th, at approximately 11:00 am, a Hispanic male entered a residence in the 3000 block of East Hoquiam Road (Hoquiam, WA). The suspect sexually assaulted the female resident as he remained in the home for several hours. Eventually the victim was able to flee the residence and made it to a neighbor’s home to report the crime.
The Hispanic suspect was described as being 5’ 05” tall, 140 pounds, last seen wearing a dirty white t-shirt, brown flannel type jacket, and dirty blue jeans.
