Pacific County Man Brings Drugs to Jail, Extends Stay
South Bend, WA. – On June 4th, 2012 a Pacific County Jail Corrections Officer requested assistance from Pacific County Sheriff’s deputies regarding a narcotics complaint at the jail. Deputies responded to the jail and contacted the Corrections Officer. Deputies were advised that a subject identified as Robin Taylor, age 41, of Ocean Park arrived at the jail on his own recognizance to report for a court ordered sentence.
Deputies were advised that as standard procedure, Taylor was searched as well as his belongings before entry into the jail. Taylor was in possession of a back pack that was searched. The search revealed a baggy of green leafy vegetable matter that was found to be marijuana. Taylor was allowed into the jail to serve out his commitment and was also cited for Possession of Marijuana as well.
