SOUTH BEND, Wash. – The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency (PCEMA) has organized a “Let’s Talk Tsunamis” presentation to be held in Chinook on June 11th at 6:00 p.m. in the Chinook School Gym, Hwy. 101 & Evelyn Rd.
“Let’s Talk Tsunamis” is a public education series created by PCEMA. The series provides information about what tsunamis are and how they function, tsunami evacuation, the tsunami warning system, tsunami history, local and distant tsunamis, hazard mitigation, and neighborhood and personal preparedness. This presentation is open to the public and free of charge.
