Hargrove honored by Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs

“He is the champion for our budget,” said Johns-Brown. “When the House had a 5-percent cut to sexual assault services, he went to the Senate and said, ‘There can’t be cuts to that program.’ In the end, not only did he get the Senate to maintain funding but also helped to bring the House budget into line with the Senate’s.”
The Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs is a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite agencies engaged in the elimination of sexual violence, through education, advocacy, victim services, and social change.
Hargrove and Darneille will be presented their awards at the coalition’s annual conference on the morning on May 14th in Vancouver, Wash.
