Mark and Holly Plackett (Plackett Enterprises) have had the privilege of being the Co-Executive Directors of the Ocean Shores/North Beach Chamber of Commerce for the last two years. We signed a two year contract with the Board of Directors. That contract concludes on March 31st. We will continue to be members of this great organization and feel confident all of our businesses will continue their growth in serving our wonderful Ocean Shores community.
We want to thank those that have served as volunteers for so many of our events, and for those of you who have volunteered here in the Chamber office. We want to thank all the artists in town who have so graciously displayed their art in our office making it a much brighter and more pleasant place to work. We want to especially thank our Ambassador team – your efforts have energized our business community through dozens of ribbon cutting celebrations, Business of the Month Presentations, Java Jitters and Business After Hour Events. We thank you and want you all to know that we appreciate all your efforts.
It has been a great privilege to serve this Chamber membership. When we’ve needed help putting together an event you have been there. When we needed office equipment or office furniture, you have been there. When we offered education events you have been there. We want to thank you and we want you to know that your outstanding support has been appreciated by both of us.
Finally, we ask you to support Patricia Wright (A Plus for Us) who has accepted the position of Executive Director for the Ocean Shores/North Beach Chamber of Commerce, starting April 1st, 2012. Patricia has been serving on our Board as Treasurer, and is also heading up the Vendor Committee for the Sixth Annual Razor Clam festival. We look forward to Patricia’s energy and commitment in continuing to make the Chamber a strong force for the membership and the City of Ocean Shores.
