HOQUIAM, Wash. – The Push Rods of Hoquiam Car Club announces its annual Chinese Auction, to take place on Sunday, February 26, 2012. The Auction will be held at the Aberdeen VFW on East Heron Street. It will begin at 11:00am and continue until Sunday afternoon, when all the prizes have been won. The public is enthusiastically welcome to attend.

Thanks to the generosity of Grays Harbor citizens and businesses, there are always a large number of wonderful items up for grabs, and any of them could be won for as little as a single dollar bid. Items often include brand new bicycles, televisions, toys, plants, tools, staycations and more. The Silent Auction table will be filled with delicious home baked goodies and handmade items. There will also be fifty-fifty drawings, with tickets being sold for one dollar. Food and beverages are available.

The Push Rods of Hoquiam Car Club is very involved in the community, and proudly supports the American Cancer Society Relay for Live, Aberdeen High School Renaissance Car Show, The Grays Harbor Community Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, the Center for Domestic Violence, and Meals on Wheels. It also sponsors a yearly Grays Harbor College Automotive Scholarship.

The Push Rods of Hoquiam invites everyone to attend its Chinese Auction, Sunday, February 26, at the Aberdeen VFW on East Heron Street. The fun begins at 11:00am.
