City Residents Help Stage 4 Cancer Patient Fight For More Time

MONTESANO, Wash. – Friends and family are rallying around a new mother, recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Dynamite Shotz in Montesano raised over 2,000 dollars plus half of the till yesterday to benefit Tabitha Kowal.
Angela Papac is Tabitha’s sister-in-law, she tells us the family is hoping Tabi’s treatments can give her more time with her three-month old “It is something that we hope to be able to give her some treatment and be able to give her some more time with us.”
Papac said benefit bracelets will be available on the 9th of January at Studio 2 Hair Designs, Anchor Bank, Montesano Fitness, and Dynamite Shotz. Also on January 7th, the band “Humptulips” will play a benefit concert at Gepetto’s Pizza.
Donations can also be made separately to the Kowal Benefit Fund at Anchor Bank.
