E911 Grievance Denied by Board
ABERDEEN, Wash. – The Grays Harbor E-911 Administrative Board has denied a grievance filed by a current employee over an hour of double-time vs. overtime pay in September. “I’ve been representing this group six or eight years and we’ve never had a grievance go this far before.”
Teamsters Union Representative Darrin Oneal said the grievance came down to the interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement, the Board agreed, interpreted it differently, and denied the claim following an executive session Tuesday afternoon. Sources said the difference between what the complainant was paid, and what they’d expected was around $10.
