Union Leaders Answer Questions at Grays Harbor Paper Meeting

About 200 former Grays Harbor Paper employees and affected family members met this morning at the Aberdeen Elks building many with the same concern “with the work stoppages they had, and all the shortened hours before the mill closed, I’m behind so far on everything.” Dislocated worker Jeremy (Haws) Hawes said he’s been falling slowly behind for months.

Ron Schmidt with Worksource Grays Harbor said they’ll be exchanging information at the Aberdeen Log Pavillion meetings tomorrow at 9am, 12:30 and 4pm.

State representatives will also be available to answer questions on unemployment insurance, health benefits, and 401k options.
