Mason County - A one car collision in Mason County tuesday morning claimed the life of a fourteen year-old boy, while seriously injuring his sixteen year-old brother.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:25 am on State Route 3 just south of Allyn and approximately 14 miles north of Shelton. Sixteen year old Joshua McGuire of Allyn was driving a 1987 BMW northbound, when his vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck a utility pole. His brother, fourteen year-old Jordan McGuire was seated in the front passenger seat and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
