Aberdeen Man Suffers Multiple Gunshot Wounds in Hoquiam
HOQUIAM, Wash. – A 42 year old Aberdeen man was flown to Harborview Medical Center last night, and is now listed in stable condition, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. Hoquiam Police report the incident took place outside of a mobile home in the 1900 block of Broadway in Hoquiam, around 8:30 last night. While investigators report the incident does not appear to be a random act, a 31 year old Hoquiam man with a concealed weapon permit was questioned and released. Deputy Chief Jim Maloney tells us it appears the Hoquiam man shot one of two alleged assailants in his driveway, the other fled. A 33 year old Aberdeen man was arrested nearby on an outstanding warrant. The investigation is expected to continue throughout the week.
