Montesano Sisters Arrested for Vehicular Assault After Elma Incident

ELMA, Wash. – Two sisters from Montesano have been arrested for assault with a motor vehicle. The incident reportedly occured Wednesday on the Monte-Elma road where a 15 year old Elma High School jogger was struck by a bright red passenger car, which then turned around and attempted to hit her again. Detectives with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s office, along with the assistance from the Montesano Police Department, followed up on a number of tips that led to the arrest of two teenage female students from Montesano Friday Afternoon. The suspects acknowledged their involvement in the assault, and were booked into the Grays Harbor County Juvenile Facility for Assault 2nd Degree.
