Grays Harbor Food Drive Joins Regional Effort at Guinness World Record

How many people can say they were a part of a Guinness World Record? Here is your chance! To break the record we need to bring in 509,148 pounds of food–our goal is one million pounds.

Currently, collections are being taken in local communities at the following dates and times:


— Thursday, Sept. 9 – Westport, Red Apple Market, – 4-7 p.m.
— Friday, Sept. 10 – Ocean Shores, location TBA- 4-7 p.m.
— Saturday, Sept. 11 -Hoquiam,  Swanson’s, 1-4 PM, Hosted by the Boy Scouts of America
— Sunday, Sept. 12 – Montesano Thriftway – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Hosted by the Montesano Kiwanis
— Monday, Sept. 13 – South Bend, Pioneer Grocery – 4-7 p.m.
— Tuesday, Sept. 14 – Raymond Everybody’s – 4 -7 p.m.
— Wednesday, Sept. 15 -Elma, Everybody’s- 4-7 p.m.
— Thursday, Sept. 16 – Aberdeen, Top Foods- 4-7 p.m.
