ABERDEEN, Wash. – The Wishkah Bridge in Aberdeen closes this weekend as crews replace steel sections of the structure that were damaged by an oversized load in May.
The bridge closes overnight from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Friday, July 23, and Saturday, July 24.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to the nearby Heron Street Bridge, which will temporarily be reconfigured to accommodate east- and westbound lanes of traffic. Costs of the repair work have not yet been determined, but will be charged to the responsible party.
