ABERDEEN – Drivers on US 12 and US 101 and should plan ahead for possible delays this week. Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will repair pavement along several sections of both US 12 and US 101.
US 12 work locations:
From 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, WSDOT maintenance crews will close the right lane of eastbound US 12. Crews will consecutively work in the two locations listed below.
- Between milepost .06 and 1.0, near the Aberdeen Bluff.
- Between milepost 2.3 and 2.8, in Central Park.
US 101 work locations:
From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, crews will close the right lane of southbound US 101 (Park St.) from 90.7 – 90.8 on the Aberdeen Couplet.
From 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, crews will close the right lane of southbound US 101 (Simpson Ave.) from 87.8 to 88.4 on the Aberdeen couplet.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 19, flaggers will reduce US 101 to one alternating lane of traffic at the two locations listed below for pavement repairs.
- From milepost 89.8 to 89.9 near Fairfield Acres Drive.
- From milepost 93.7 to 94.2, from Dekay Road to the vicinity of New London Road.
Motorists are advised to expect slight delays and to add extra time to reach their destinations.
