Police are working to locate two suspects in a home invasion robbery in Oakville early yesterday morning. Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s department tells us two masked men kicked in the door to an Alder street home in Oakville and assaulted the man and woman inside.
Shumate said the Oakville men are both in their 20′s, and apparently brandished machetes when they broke into the home just after 5 Thursday morning. At some point during the confrontation the mask of one of the suspects was removed and a possible identity obtained. The suspects fled the residence without taken anything. A possible motive for the assault may have been due to recent casino winnings by the victims.
