Aberdeen woman arrested after man found dead in home
Aberdeen police arrested a 45 year old woman after she called 911 and responding officers found a 63 year old man’s body in the home. Detective Art Laur tells us on April 26th, at about 4:48am, officers were summoned to a residence in the 1400 Block of Cherry St in Aberdeen. When they arrived they discovered a deceased male inside the home. The female caller and only other occupant of the residence was located inside.
Aberdeen Police Investigators were soon called to the home by the responding officers. A search warrant for the residence was subsequently obtained and later executed.
The female who had been found inside the home was arrested at the scene and transported to the City of Aberdeen Jail where she has been held on a charge of Second Degree Homicide. This female is a 45 year old Aberdeen resident. The victim is a 63 year old Aberdeen resident.
An autopsy on the deceased will be conducted in the near future. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family by the Grays Harbor County Coroner’s Office.
