Minor delays over US 12 at White Pass starts April 4th for the next two weeks
WHITE PASS – Work to stabilize a slope that washed out last fall, resumes on April 4, which could cause minor delays for drivers.
The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will reduce US 12 to a single lane with alternating traffic on US 12 near milepost 154, three miles east of White Pass. A temporary traffic signal will guide vehicles through a single-lane detour. Drivers will experience 10 to 15-minute delays during daylight hours.
This two-week project finishes up work to stabilize the slope that washed out in October 2013. Work is scheduled to be complete April 25.
