Aberdeen school bus involved in traffic accident
Some Aberdeen grade school students took a little longer getting home today, after a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of Boone and Cushing street left bus 103 t-boned by a full size Chevy SUV on the South side of Aberdeen just before 4 Friday afternoon.
Washington State Patrol and Aberdeen police were on scene shortly after the incident, and said they had several witnesses giving statements.
Parents with photo ID were picking their children up at the scene of the accident, while administrators were working to get the remainder of the kids home on alternate buses.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident and while there did not appear to be any injuries from the scene, a full report will be released after the investigation.
