Hoquiam Man Arrested After Stealing From His Mother
HOQUIAM, Wash. – Strong-Arm Robbery was the charge when a man forcibly took his mother’s purse on the East side of Hoquiam yesterday. The 20 year old Hoquiam man stole the woman’s purse and keys when she refused to give them to him just before noon Tuesday. The man then ran into the brush near the Olympic Stadium.
Hoquiam Police Chief Jeff Meyers tells KBKW "He tried to run into the brush there and the officers found and arrested him." The Hoquiam man was arrested by Hoquiam officers shortly after being reported, and booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on charges of Robbery and Assault.
