Joint Public Notice: Proposal for a Joint Wetland and Conservation Mitigation Bank in Clark County

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) are considering a proposal to establish the Wapato Valley Mitigation and Conservation Bank. The Joint Public Notice was posted today, December 21, 2015, and will expire on January 20, 2016.

Plas Newydd Farms, LLC is the applicant for the wetland and conservation mitigation bank located in Clark County, Washington. The proposal currently involves the re-establishment, rehabilitation, enhancement, and preservation of approximately 876 acres of wetland, stream, and associated upland habitat.

The Corps and Ecology are soliciting comments from interested parties in order to identify project aspects that need to be addressed during the bank review process.
