The Grays Harbor County Emergency Management Agency has organized an event for this weekend to help you better prepare for emergencies, or just the upcoming weather.
Deputy Director Chuck Wallace said in a press release that the event will feature speakers from the National Weather Service, Washington State Emergency Management Agency, Public Health, Community Emergency Response Teams, Block Watch Groups and more.
Learn about the weather forecast for this winter, family and personal preparedness, Go kits, as well as earthquake, tsunami, and flood issues in our region at the Emergency Management Expo held at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. September 17th with numerous speakers and information tables on natural disaster risk and hazards as well as preparedness information for all.
This is a free event open to everyone.
