Grays Harbor PUD offers reward following repeated vandalism

Following several cases of vandalism involving bb and pellet guns being fired at the Sumner Avenue Grays Harbor PUD Administration Building, the PUD Commissioners have approved a $1000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.

“First and foremost, this is a threat to the health and safety of our employees and our customers.  Fortunately, these incidents have taken place at night or after business hours and no one has been injured, but the threat remains,” said General Manager Dave Ward.  “Secondly, each time a window is shot, the cost to replace it impacts the PUD budget to the tune of thousands of dollars.  As a public entity, those costs impact our customers.”

Anyone with any information on the vandalism at the Grays Harbor PUD is encouraged to contact the Aberdeen Police Department at (360) 533-3180.
