Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Hit #1 on Jazz Chart; Gaga Shares Photo of “Sin City” Sequel Appearance

PRNewsFoto/Interscope RecordsLady Gaga has topped the Billboard Hot 100 with her pop hits, but now she’s celebrating reaching the summit on the jazz charts.

The singer’s new duet with Tony Bennett, “Anything Goes,” has reached the top of the Billboard Jazz Digital Songs chart. In an excited tweet to Bennett, she wrote, “Our song ‘Anything Goes’ is #1 on the Billboard Jazz Charts for Digital Songs! I’m so proud and I love you darling!”

The odd couple’s jazz album, Cheek to Cheek, arrives in stores September 23. Gaga tweeted about the project, “Everyday that goes by I get more and more excited for Tony and I’s album.” We’ll forgive her the incorrect grammar — she’s excited, okay?

Gaga has also tweeted a still photo of herself in the upcoming movie Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The black-and-white photo shows her dressed as a waitress in a diner, talking to Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
