ABERDEEN, Wash. – Police are searching for two suspects identified by a stab victim after police were called to a robbery complaint near the intersection of A and 2nd street around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Detective David Cox tells us the victim reported being struck several times with a pistol, then stabbed. Cox said the victim identified his attackers as 31 and 19 year old Aberdeen men. The victim, a 25 year old Aberdeen man, was transported to Community Hospital for his injuries. Cox said the investigation continues, and the suspects remain at large.
ABERDEEN, Wash. – A Grayland woman pulled her child and dog from a burning car over the weekend. Aberdeen Battalion Chief Bill Mayne tells us flames were visible from the engine compartment of a 1995 Cadillac STS when crews responded to the Southside Swanson’s grocery store around 8 Sunday night. Mayne said the driver saw smoke coming from the dash of her car before she pulled into the parking lot and exited the car with her daughter and the family dog. No injuries were reported, Mayne said the vehicle was likely totaled.
